Brexit: Pet Travel Update

As you’ll no doubt be aware, the UK left the European Union on 31^st January 2020. We’re now in a transition period, which will last until the 31^st December 2020.

During the transition period, pet owners will be able to travel to Europe with their pets in the normal way – i.e. with a pet passport. The process may well change at the beginning of next year but until then, there’s no change.

My cat doesn’t have a pet passport?

If you plan to travel with your pet this year and they don’t yet have a pet passport, come and see us as soon as you can. It can take a few weeks before your pet is eligible to travel.
